Social Media and its history dates back thousands of years. The traditional handshake and smile, to the gathering of the masses, social media has been apart of our daily lives. In the early 60’s people connected by just calling or visiting. Businesses came to your door doing what was called, “Door to Door” sells. Sometimes you will get something in the mail prompting you to buy something, flooding your mailbox with junk mail.

The former handshake is still a good practice to keep and is still one of the best practices to use. People felt important and valued. Unfortunately this method comes with a price for traveling, hotels, car rentals, lunch or dinner meetings, will add to your overhead cost and reduce revenue to your company.
